PAAS is a non-toxic and water-soluble compound that can operate effectively in alkaline and neutral environments without precipitation. The main function of PAAS is to disperse small particles of minerals such as calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate in water, preventing tha from scaling due to precipitation. PAAS, as a commonly used dispersant, is not only used as a scale inhibitor in the circulating cooling water systa of factories such as power, chaical, fertilizer, and oil refining, but also widely used in industries such as papermaking, textile printing and dyeing, ceramic manufacturing, coating production, and construction.
PAAS is often used as part of the formula in conjunction with other water treatment agents, and the specific formula and dosage will be adjusted based on the on-site water quality and equipment materials. If PAAS is used alone, its concentration is usually between 2-15mg/L. When using PAAS in other fields such as concrete water reducing agents and printing and dyeing, the dosage should be determined based on experimental results.
